Tamara McRary opened Harmony in September 2009. She is a Nationally Certified and South Carolina
state licensed massage therapist. She
has been practicing massage therapy for fourteen years. After graduating with honors from the
Therapeutic Massage Training Institute in Charlotte NC, she developed a private
practice in Charlotte for four years prior to her entry into the spa
environment. Tamara worked for seven
years at Savvy Salon and Day Spa, an upscale day spa in Cornelius, NC, before moving to the Charleston
area. Upon moving to Charleston, Tamara
began working for, Sasanqua, a private spa on Kiawah Island. Harmony Massage Therapy, LLC is her newest
endeavor. She is working in conjunction
with Cloud 9 Spa, located on Maybank Highway beside the Terrace Theater. Cloud 9 Spa consist of a group of independent business owners who have joined together to create a welcoming spa environment. Over
the last fourteen years, Tamara has continued her education in such areas as
medical massage, prenatal and postnatal Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, and
reflexology.
